I never thought I would have the time, or the enrgy to actually do this blog thing. Would much rather be outside, but in any event, the reason for this is simple.
I needed to vent my frustrations with the people of this country. Stop being so damned sensitive about shit!!!!! So Imus called a college gir;s team a "bunch of Nappy-headed ho's"
SO FUCKIN WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Do you honestly think that Imus matters? Or his opinions? NO BODY forces us to tune into the radio stations he was on. If you dont like what he has to say, don't listen. All there is to it. The Constitution says we have the right to free speech. It does not say we have the right to not have our feelings hurt. I agree it was a racist comment, but again, so what?!?!?!?!?! Steve harvey , a black comedian, has a morning drive radio show here in NYC. He does a skit called "Redneck News" Do you here any white activists calling for his removal from the radio??? no. Why? because we get the fact that its a show and its not meant to be taken seriously. Al sharpton? you are the biggest Hypocrit I have ever heard speak publicly. Where is your apology for the Tawana Brawley mess? Where is your bravado now that those kids from Duke University were exonerated????? I want your apology now, Like imus did ON YOUR SHOW!!!!!! Jesse Jackson? hmmmm....there was something with him too. HE CALLED NYC HYMIETOWN!!!!!!!!! but I forget, I am white, they are not. So naturally that means they can say and do as they please. I therfore apologize now for forgetting that its not ok for white people to use racial comedy but EVERY black comedian CAN.
one last thing than I can feel better. I Don't give a shit about what ANY black comedian says about being white because their comments mean nothing. Imus' comments meant nothing. In all honesty, it was a bad joke to begin with. Not because it was tastelss, just because it wasn't that funny.
With that said, I say ALL censorship should be halted immediately. let us, the AMERICAN PUBLIC, of all races, creeds and colors, decide what we as individuals will listen to. We have the right to voice a complaint about something , but How dare ANYONE take away someone's career because their right to free speach was used. FUCK YOU you oversensitive liberal, politically correct Assholes.
